Russo has taught string bass and piano privately for the last 25 years -- he teaches beginners to advanced students using a number of string bass method books including Simandl, Strictly Strings and Oxford's Double Bass Solos books. His successful private string bass and piano instruction is located in New York and Connecticut. He has given master classes at Yale and in many school systems throughout Connecticut. He has also coached various chamber ensembles. Although Joseph gives both piano and bass lessons out of his home in Weston, CT, he will, when necessary, travel to his students' homes to give lessons. |
